I've was busy at the Montreal Jazz Festival this year playing with Lulu Hughes and the Montreal All City Big Band, Rafael Zaldivar Trio, Streetnix, Ivan Garzon, and Matt Herskowitz with Special guests Lara St.John (violin) and David Gotay (cello). Thanks to all that came to the shows and said "Hi". Stay tuned for more performances.

Saturday March 27th marked the launching of Rafael Zaldivar's debut record with Effendi Records, entitled "Life Directions". The show was held at Astral in Montreal and was recorded for CBC Radio 2. The show will air live on April 9th at 730PM EST on CBC Radio 2. One of my compositions entitled "Changing Rooms" is on the album!

March 31 was Julie Hamelin's CD release for her debut album. "Smooth Road" at Upstairs in Montreal. She's a great jazz singer that I have had the luxury to work with. We rencently performed at the Féstivoix in Trois Riviéres, QC.
